Springville Playhouse announces it will be holding open auditions for its Art City Days production of “Hello Dolly” Friday, March 14 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the theater under the Springville Library. All parts except that of Dolly Levi are available. Please be prepared to do cold readings from the script and to sing 16 bars from another Broadway show of your choosing other than the one being auditioned for. A keyboard will be available for accompaniment or auditioners may bring a CD of their music. A CD player will be available at the theater.
Numerous roles for both male and female actors aged 16 to 50 are available to be cast. The show will open for Art City Days on June 6th and run each Friday, Saturday and Monday evening through June 28th. Call Daryl Tucker at 427-9318 or Robinne Booth at 830-2776 for more information.
